It is a good concept but your right it was very messy!! and stinky. We even did ours with a lot of ventilation just a roof over the top to keep it from getting wet.

Chad just finished making his first batch and, while the concept is good....yes, it's costing him about $1/gallon to make....it REALLY DOES STINK!! I keep telling him it can't be good to be in the garage with that stench.Yeeck!!! He's on the phone right now, but I'll show him your comment when he's done :)

Chad what kind of discussion were you thinking.
We use to make it out of restaurant waste grease. It worked well in the summer (warm weather temps). It cost about $1 to $1.50 per gal to make. But is messy and smelly and that didn't include our time. Aajonus thought(but would have to test the fumes )that it was worse on your health then regular diesel fuel, because of the different structure heating up the oils. It is harder to get the crystallized fat out of your lungs.
