Instant Pumpkin Pie

This recipe is based off of one from the book/cookbook, BATTLING THE "MSG MYTH" by Debby Anglesey, and it's pretty darn awesome! Everyone should check out this book. The first half is a very informative overview of msg and how to avoid it in foods (and why!). The second half is full of delicious and simple recipes!

This pie forms its own crust!!

1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin puree (plain)
3/4 cup sugar
3/8 cup flour
1/2 cup whole milk
3 eggs
6 Tbsp melted butter
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp nutmeg
3/8 tsp cloves
3/8 tsp ginger powder

Blend all ingredients in a blender and pour into a 9" pie pan. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes.

We prefer to cool completely before eating.
