Is it a coincidence that these words are so similar?  Do you believe Additives are added to foods just to improve taste, texture or preservation or are they added to keep the buyer Addicted and…Continue

The End of Summer 2016

I continue to move forward in the area of Lifestyle and Health Happiness. This summer was an amazing experience.  I was able to co-lead a Health Expo for the small community of Summerville GA.  I have created a Healthy Lending Library that I have placed in The Vineyard which is a local vegetarian restaurant in Summerville GA.  I was also able to co-lead a 10 day challenge for 15 people who wanted to…

Hope Coast to Coast

I'm located in GA and at this time I have a friend in CT who has been transformed by better lifestyle choices.  She has lost over 30 pounds and her blood sugar is under control. She is full of energy and she is now sharing her story with others.

Just last evening I received a note from a friend in CA who has thrown her hat into the ring regarding a journey towards better health. She is now studying, learning and gaining the tools that will sustain her new lifestyle…

Thanks for the encouragement Roberta! How long after making those changes did you find yourself having energy and being pain free?

Thank you for sharing your personal story Roberta.  I would love to be able to go to a retreat as you went to.  I work full time and it's hard to take much time off.  I've been hurting for way too long and want to feel better as I'm sure you can understand. I'm glad you have found relief and can enjoy your life again. I appreciate your kind words and encouragement.

Thanks Roberta for taking the time to write and for the quick response!

I'll definitely try some of your suggestions and it's funny but I just started watching Barbara O'Neill on youtube recently. I've only watched a couple of them, but it's really good info and thanks for the reminder to watch more of them.

Can I ask you, when you started feeling better was it a gradual process or did you just realize you felt a lot better one day?  And how long did it take for you to feel better?

Thanks again!

Peace,

Jen

Hi Roberta, I'm so glad you found relief of your painful and exhausting symptoms!

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 22 years ago, when I was 19 yrs old. I found Christy and this awesome website about 3 months ago and have been eating additive free (to my knowledge) since then.  I feel a little bit better but hoping for a lot more. My energy and mood seem a little better and low blood sugar issues are a lot better.  Pain is about the same, maybe slightly improved.  Can I ask you how long you had your fibro symptoms and how long it took before things started improving? I am familiar with how many names MSG falls under and to avoid aspartame also.  I've even given up bread because it seemed to make me feel bad, even though it was my favorite food, but somehow don't even miss it! (which is a small miracle in itself)  I still eat meat probably with antibiotics, but not sure where to buy antibiotic-free meat. Our grocery stores do not seem to carry it.

Anyway, wanted to say hello and say that you and Christy and others inspire me to keep going and that now I have hope that things may get better down the road.

If you have any tips or words of wisdom, I'd sure appreciate it!

Take care,

Jen
