Nourishing Traditions food safety for nursing moms and babes

I have been reading
more on WAP and Nourishing Traditions but I am feeling stuck on where
to start and, is it safe? I know that last question seems naive but I
am still breastfeeding and worry about getting sick from the raw and
cultured food. I have been reading about all the benefits to our teeth
as well and with my daughter working on a mouthful I want to take the
best care of them. So I guess my questions are is it safe for me? And
is it safe for her (15 months)? I know there are a lot of parents on
here and I was wondering how if they feel safe giving their kids raw
dairy, meat, eggs, honey, ect. and what did they start with.
I am having trouble deprogramming :)
Thanks everyone!

Oh my word Marilyn, what a beautiful reply. Thanks you so much. I wish I could pick my grandpa's brain, he has past away but he was an "of course" man too. :) I miss him dearly. I will look at those links you posted, I am always on the look out for better snack options.
Thanks again made my day!
